Traditional Pumpkin Bread Recipe from our kitchen to yours is here! That means that when it comes from our kitchen, we have frugal shortcuts, healthier swaps and a gluten-free version for all of your budget and diet needs.

I seriously love finding homemade versions of recipes for store-bought pre-made foods or even the boxed mixes and creating my own instead. It saves money, I can control ingredients and there is just something better about a real homemade version.

What I love about both of these recipes is that they are both pumpkiny (is that a word!) and fluffy, including the gluten-free version.

So you can make the traditional or the gluten-free version.

First, you will start with the Homemade Muffin Mix, it is one of the most popular recipes on our site. It is the Bulk Homemade Muffin Mix to replace store-bought muffin pouches and mixes. This is going to be the “main” ingredient in your pumpkin bread.  Already a major shortcut and budget saver. It only takes a minute to whip this up if you don’t already have this made.

For the gluten-free version, replace the flour in the Muffin Mix with the Best Ever Gluten-Free Flour Mix. This is the mix that will ensure fluffy, just like the real thing, pumpkin bread. We have found no other gluten-free flour that comes close to this awesome version. You can also use any other gluten-free flour that you have made or that is pre-bought. But we can’t guarantee the fluffiness of your bread. 🙂

  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1.5 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

And if you want, you can top with the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe HERE.

To make Traditional Pumpkin Bread:

  • Mix with a fork until well blended.
  • Pour into your bread pan.
