target black friday ad 2010

The Target Black Friday sales and ad is now available to preview. Target will open at 4 am and the sale prices are valid until 10 am in-store at Target! Our first reaction and observation is that Target is running very similar sells to Walmart.  The prices are slightly higher, but the quality may be a little better too.  But here is some information to help you determine where you will be heading that morning!

Target is offering a special promotion where you will receive a $10 gift card when you purchase $100 or more in the store during the hours of 4am – 10 am only.  It also says that there is a limited supply, so we are assuming that not everyone will get one during those hours that spend the $100?!

First, we want to encourage you again to read up on our Holiday Shopping Articles to help you be a smarter shopper.  Also, please note that the lowest prices are not always the best deals – please consider quality, brand, and whether the set is complete (i.e. no additional accessories needed).

Here are the top picks (as far as lowest prices) that we see in each department:

The items in “Blue” are a better price at Walmart.  Those items are in “Red” are a better price at Target.  This is in our assessment and opinon – some are exact and some are comparable models/brands. Please note that we did not make this assessment on every item, just those that had something to compare to!

Also, you can see the full Target ad scan online for pictures and more details of the following products.

Finally, we highly recommend to be continually checking the Target printable coupons and print what you want when you see it! They will often put out coupons for electronics, apparel, home, toys and more (not just the food!) They currently have 48 toy offers which could end up making a much better deal than Walmart.

Just a heads up… the Target sale that starts next week is a “pre-Black Friday” and is supposed to be awesome!
