Big Lots Black Friday Weekend Sales 2010

big lots black friday weekend deals and ad 2010

The Big Lots Black Friday weekend sales are available to preview.  We call it the “weekend” as their deals and sales start on Thursday and they have special deals for on day only Thursday – Saturday.  Their Friday ad is the largest, but in the past, we have seen some of the better deals for bigger items on either Thursday or Saturday.  Also, there are a number of items that will be available during the sales weekend. They may do this to compete with the big retailers who will be hogging all of the Black Friday traffic.  We have personally hit the Thursday and Saturday sales at Big Lots, but we have yet to go on Black Friday.

Also, on all three days, if you happen to spend over $50, you will receive a coupon for $10 off your next transaction. Depending on how they do this (the ad has limited information) if you shopped on Thursday or Friday and spent over $50 and received your $10, you may be able to use it on the Friday or Saturday sales for even lower out of pocket.  But… they might put a disclaimer that you can start using your $10 after Saturday too! I guess we will see when we get there (unless someone knows!).

As we have been doing in all of these posts, we want to encourage you first to read up on our Holiday Shopping Articles to help you be a smarter shopper.  Also, please note that the lowest prices are not always the best deals – please consider quality, brand, and whether the set is complete (i.e. no additional accessories needed).

Here are the top picks (as far as lowest prices) that we see in each day during Big Lots weekend of sales:

Thursday Starting at 7am – 8 pm :

  • Rocker Recliners $189.99
  • Decorative Electric Fireplace $259.99

Friday 6am – 11pm:

  • Panasonic SD Camcorder $139.99
  • Low priced Holiday decor including lawn inflatables for $18.88
  • Alkaline Batteries FREE after rebate
  • Singer Sewing Machine $69.99
  • DVD TV Series $6.00
  • Slick Touch 4gB MP3 Player $28.88
  • All Video Games $10.00

Saturday 7am – 11pm:

  • Jazz Digital Camcorder $18.88 (and the brand/quality might not be worth much more than that! We have never heard of this brand.  But if you are on a tight budget and need a camcorder – this is probably the one you want to get! A camcorder is something we did not want to be without with beautiful growing kiddos, even if it meant something cheap to get us by!)
  • Chocolate Sofa or Loveseat $250.00

To find the complete list of deals, visit the Big Lots section at BFads!

Also, you can see the full Big Lots ad scan online for pictures and more details of the following products.

Finally, you may want to join Big Lots BuzzClub for possible coupons.

So will you be hitting all of the days or one over another??

I really like this. Shabby Chic is certainly a type of Feng Shui, giving a laid back,
soft and feminine feel. A very romantic way of decorating making people want to
come in and relax, that is why it can also be known as the cottage
    feel.
