This will be our fourth year participating in the Book It program as homeschoolers. With that, here is a nice FREEBIE for your kiddos! Our older three kids have loved this program! They already love reading, but this is a fun reward for passions that they are developing!
For all three of our older kids, they zoomed through the amazing Hooked on Phonics program, one that we used in our house when I was a kid and we have now used it with our three oldest with complete success. Our 4 year old daughter is now using it as it is tried and true for our family for a couple of generations and several kids 🙂 We rave about it as it works and it works well, plus it is a very simple program to use and fit into busy schedules.
Well, you can apply to be a part of the 2013-2014 Pizza Hut Book-It program. Children in the following types of schools qualify: public, private, parochial or homeschool!
- To register and apply, just fill out the application HERE. They are accepting applications through September 1st for a guaranteed spot and then after that is it only available as first come first served until the limit is reached.
- The packages will be sent out in September to start October 1st!
Also, remember that the parents do NOT have to make a purchase for the kids to get their FREE pizzas! Pick up the kids’ pizzas and take them home – unless it fits in your eating out budget and you have Pizza Hut coupons for you 😉
Pizza Hut and their BookIt program also have a summer reading program right now. You can also check that out on the Bookit Summer website to encourage reading throughout the summer.
