Last month, we shared how we purchased a 40 lb case containing 4 tubes of fine grind lean 93/7 ground beef. This product is LFTB free. It is $3.49 per lb.  This is grass-fed beef. They do finish the beef with a grain feeding, but still a much better option, especially for the price!  At first, I thought this was pricey, but I hadn’t bought beef in the grocery store for a long time as we usually buy a 1/4 or 1/2 cow each year (and it comes out to be a little more).  But good quality LFTB free beef is important to us and so I headed to the grocery store to compare.

To my surprise, the grocery store had regular 80/20 on SALE for $3.49 lb.  I was shocked at the price of ground beef in our area! So I knew that this was a good deal because checking the price of 93/7 or 93/7 LFTB free beef was upwards around $4-$6 per lb. So I ran home and jumped on this deal! It was a good thing too because it SOLD OUT even before I could tell you about it! Well, I did then show how I prepped this 40lbs. of beef in 1-hour!

Details on our 40 lbs. of beef prep in 1-hour HERE.

Since then, we have really enjoyed this beef and it is great quality and a great value for what it is.  So we wanted to let you know that since it was so popular last month, they are doing another sale because many, many missed out on the first sale.

This is a nationwide sale for this ground beef! Don’t miss it this time as it will probably sell out again! The pickup is going to be in the first part of December!  If you don’t know what we are talking about or how this works, let us give you a brief descriptions!

This beef is sold via Zaycon Foods which is a nationwide company that provides fresh chicken, beef, pork and seafood to families at an affordable prices. Their meat is higher quality and in some cases a natural option. They only have meat offerings at certain times of the year and for a certain type of meat. We have bought the natural chicken breasts the past few years.   You do not know how often or when they will have these sales Well, right now is their additional beef event since the first one sold out.

The way that this works is that you place your order and then you will pick up your order from a local pick-up site as they are delivered to the area fresh. It is very simple. you show up when they say, you don’t even need to get out of your car as they will look your name up on a list and put the case in your vehicle for you! It is just that simple!  Thousands of families nationwide buy their meats in bulk this way!

Just as we have mentioned many times in our classes, we rarely buy meat at the store.  We end up buying a better and healthier option in bulk from suppliers like this!

Head to the Zaycon Site HERE and register (or log-in if already a member).

You have to be registered to see the prices, pickup and delivery details and dates for your area and additional details.

Don’t miss this event as it is only open for orders the next few days and then it will be gone again for a while!

Do you ever process it in jars? Freezer space costs a lot for us so we put 1 lb in a pint canning jar and process it. Came out and hubby thought it was a piece of steak he was tasting.
