100-christmas-money

As every Black Friday continues it sure seems that retailers are offering great deals as well as online, and even earlier in the week like this week! But the deals have only just begun online and will continue to explode! Most all of our Christmas shopping is completed and been almost entirely online!

The great part is that shopping online reaps another final discount/award that you cannot get in the stores.  That is shopping through Ebates for cash back! We shopped at Kohls.com and got 6% cash back and at Walmart.com with 5% cash back.  It was so slick, so nice and so easy to shop online, stack coupon codes and ways to save and then end up with cash back too!

We have shared this tip on our Secrets to Find the Best Deals on Anything article as it is just another great and easy way to save.

Besides some stocking stuffers I did 100% of my Christmas shopping online and I am finished. It feels so good to be done already. AND I was a little under budget which feels even better. 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving!!

I have an ebates account! I did all of my shopping on line. It completely steals my Christmas spirit to have to fight the crowds.

I have always enjoyed the Black Friday shopping. However, last night was awful. I was trying to get the $38 blue-ray player at Walmart for my kids. I was the first one at the display almost two hours before the sale began. Once it did, the chaos was rampant. People were climbing and reaching over me for a box. One man even tried to take the one from my cart! Takes all the fun out of it. Kinda liking online shopping more now!

I like shopping online. I don’t have to drag my 3 kids around town with me. I don’t have to find a dressing room to nurse my 6 week old baby. I don’t have to get dressed and put on make up. I can do it WHILE making dinner… It is just easier to shop online. Plus I like the cash back with ebates… also, I can usually find a coupon code for the stores I shop at!

The ONLY things I HAVE to shop in store for is (besides groceries), clothing items for myself. I just HAVE to try things on first.

I did most of my shopping early in stores (in October) and everything else I finished up online. I am not interested in fighting crowds in stores ever again.

I prefer online shopping because it is so hassle free, and the majority of the time I can save so much more money than if I went into a store.

I went out to Kmart and Home Depot, however, I live in a small town and it was not really busy at all. I then went home and did most the rest of my shopping online and loved getting all the cash back. It’s fantastic!

I did my shopping last year online. I am so thankful for being able to do the same this year due to my health. With three children, I am trying to not allow this illness to prevent them from enjoying the season. I am very weak and limited. My time and energy is toward nutrition, rest, and homeschooling. Being able to shop online this year has been a blessing.

I much prefer to shop online. I am a bit too competitive to enjoy shopping in a crowd. I also like the ability to compare prices while sitting comfortably at my computer.

I prefer online shopping as long as I can get the same deal with free shipping! I went to Kohl’s today because my coupon was in-store only. After waiting over 1.5 hours to check out, the savings of shopping in store was really a wash. Occasionally there are opportunities to “stack” coupons at certain retailers, and that is usually not an option when you’re shopping online. Lots of sites limit promotion codes to one or two. I have used ebates for quite some time and even little savings add up over time!

I think it is horrible how they have turned Thanksgiving into a crazy non family event. I would hate to have to work retail right now! As a growing family, we have stopped doing black friday. For the past 5 years we have only done one every year- babies r us for diapers. Otherwise we do everything online because we are parents and we don’t have time/sitter to go shopping. Works out the best for us to do it all online!

I went out Thursday night, only to Kmart. It was a madhouse! I went out again Friday around 10:00 and was hoping all of the ‘crazies’ were too tired from shopping all night Thursday night…I was wrong:-) There was still a lot of traffic and long lines, but I waited in line with some of the nicest people this year! it was worth it!!

I shop online often, but also in some stores. My children don’t go for the usual, so I have to hunt it down.

I did a little Black Friday shopping only because I was in a larger city because I had to drive my son to catch a plane. I took advantage of shopping in the middle of the day in a suburb and got deals I couldn’t have found in our smaller city. Also, I got great parking, and limited crowds. As the stores started to fill up again in the early afternoon, I was on the highway! Most of my shopping will be online.

I prefer to shop online because I can shop around and look for the best deals without having to go from store to store. Plus I love Amazon!

I have spent limited time in physical stores – the hassle of going to them just does not seem worth it, especially in light of the fact that the prices are so close.

I did hit a few physical stores but only for used goods – Salvation Army and St. Vincent De Paul had half off after Thanksgiving, books 5x$1, etc. Crowds were not bad at thrift stores. All the rest I did online. I am not interested in fighting crowds at all, especially when I can get the same deal shipped to my door.

I go black friday shopping to spend time with my mom and sister. It is our tradition and I enjoy it but I don’t love the crowds.
