Have you ever tried Olive Garden’s Toasted Ravioli – Oh My! SO GOOD! We shared an entree a couple of months ago with some of their new signature dishes as a sampler, including toasted ravioli. I seriously could not stop eating them and was sad we didn’t just get an entire plate of these! BTW – we eat out with discounted gift cards from here. We save a minimum of $5 every time!
Well, we had to find a way to recreate these at home and on a dime because I couldn’t get enough! What we discovered is that it is actually quite easy to re-create these savory goodies at home. Now we are going to show you how to make these with frozen, pre-made ravioli, but you can always make your own ravioli and then follow the recipe below. However, these will only take small fraction of the time if you just use pre-made ones!

- Beat water with eggs together in a small bowl.
- In another bowl, combine oregano, basil, garlic salt and bread crumbs.
- Place flour in a third bowl.
- In a pan, melt coconut oil or pour vegetable oil in the bottom of the pan until bottom is covered. Then heat oil to 350 degrees.
- Dip each ravioli in flour then in egg wash and finally in breadcrumbs and set on plate for about 5 minutes to set the coating.
- Carefully place in oil and fry until golden, flipping on the opposite side so both sides brown.
- Place on rack or paper towels to drain.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and chopped parsley and serve with your favorite marinara sauce. (Tip: make your own marinara with 1 can chopped tomatoes (or 2 cups of fresh tomatoes, chopped and cooked down to a chunky sauce) and 2 TBSP of our Italian Seasoning too! Just mix the two together and pop in the microwave for 1.5 minutes and serve!
Again, for this recipe, don’t forget to try the Homemade Italian Seasoning in both the coating and the sauce.
This recipe is also a crowd-pleasing, kid-pleasing, party-pleasing tasty treasure. It can be easily transported and served in most any circumstance. It never disappoints!
