Cuisine: American Italian
Serves: 8
Ingredients
  • 16 oz package frozen Ravioli (Meat or Cheese)
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 ½ cup Breadcrumbs
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • *Note: you can also replace the oregano, basil and garlic salt with 1 TBSP of our Italian Seasoning.
  • Grated Parmesan and chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
  1. Let the ravioli sit out until thawed.
  2. Beat water with eggs together in a small bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine oregano, basil, garlic salt and bread crumbs.
  4. Place flour in a third bowl.
  5. In a pan, melt coconut oil or pour vegetable oil in the bottom of the pan until bottom is covered. Then heat oil to 350 degrees.
  6. Dip each ravioli in flour then in egg wash and finally in breadcrumbs and set on plate for about 5 minutes to set the coating.
  7. Carefully place in oil and fry until golden, flipping on the opposite side so both sides brown.
  8. Place on rack or paper towels to drain.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan and chopped parsley and serve with your favorite marinara sauce. (Tip: make your own marinara with 1 can chopped tomatoes (or 2 cups of fresh tomatoes, chopped and cooked down to a chunky sauce) and 2 TBSP of our Italian Seasoning too! Just mix the two together and pop in the microwave for 1.5 minutes and serve!
