jeremiah-daddys-hands

Hello friends and readers! You may have noticed that the last week has been really quiet here and on our social media channels.

Well, we’ve been busy and quite frankly… plumb distracted not to mention exhausted! 🙂

Remember when we announced that we were expecting a few months ago?  Well, our precious little guy is here!

jeremiah-sleeping

Jeremiah David

He arrived on March 31st, 2015 at 9:34 p.m. He weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 inches long (our longest baby).  He arrived by necessary c-section. He is a bit early, but even with that, he is perfect! He’s passed all of his tests with flying colors and is a perfectly healthy baby according to the pediatrician.

We think he’s adorable, sweet and so snuggly. We can’t get enough of him!

daddy-and-jeremiah

We have all been enjoying the love, joy, sweetness, new baby smell, and the adorable newborn milestones and firsts. The camera is constantly rolling and with five other excited kids; he’s being spoiled by lots of kisses and snuggles all day (and night) long!

The only thing is…this is baby #6 for us, and my first baby in my 30’s and we have simply forgotten how that lack of sleep affects you.  But it’s okay – turning into mumbling zombies is totally worth it. Alex is losing just as much sleep because he’s helping this recovering c-section mom get baby out and take care of him at night with my limitations, but I couldn’t ask for a better husband. 🙂

We will share his birth story later, but at least wanted to give you this exciting announcement and the reason why The Thrifty Couple seemingly disappeared for a short time. 🙂

Hopefully we still start getting back to our regularly scheduled programming in the coming week.

Also, watch for the birth story and more pictures of him and our whole family soon!

Congratulations!! Even though this may be #6 for you they are all different in their own little ways. I have 3 and everyone of them are different even now that they are adults. I’ve had the special blessing of helping my daughter raise my 5 grand daughters. What a blessing they all are!! I had all 3 of mine by C-sections and I know what you mean by your first compared to your last one. The older you get the harder it is but like you stated they are all worth it!! Enjoy your sweet special little guy. He’s a cutie!!

Oh Wow! What a wonderful blessing! He was born on my birthday too so that makes him extra special! LOL enjoy your time with him being so little and take it really easy cause c sections are tough for our bodies to recover from. I have also had a necessary c section (emergency one) so take as much time as your body needs to recover fully!

Congratulations of the safe arrival of your little one. I also have 6 and 1st was at 30 years old and 6th at 43 years old, so yes you notice the difference, but it doesn’t take long to forget you don’t need sleep. I hope you have a quick and speedy recovery and enjoy every moment. My little one is now 2 1/2 and I still feel like he is only 1, it does go so quickly.

Congratulations on one of the best of gifts! We are expecting #6 later this summer, and I’m no longer in my 30’s either! Take your time getting back to business. We’re all anxious to hear from you, but recovering takes a little more time these days.

Congratulations on the birth of your sweet baby. I’m a mom of 3, grand mom of 12. We currently have our son and family living with us and they had their 3rd boy a couple of months ago. I’ve been able to enjoy the sweetness and hard work if a newborn again with them. What a special blessing!

Congratulations on the birth of your son! Take it easy because recovery in your 30s is different than your 20s. I had 2 in my 20s and it seemed like a piece of cake and then I had 2 more in my 30s & it’s very different. Enjoy him and your other little ones!

Congratulations! Excellent job, Madam. You have beautiful baby, seriously. I have seen many babies over the years and quite frankly, most appear as little aliens……albeit cute aliens. Your newest family member is truly a beautiful baby. Love the name. David is my son’s middle name, after my father. Six (6), !!!!!!! No disrespect intended at all Madam, but has your OB ever discussed with you how these beautiful babies are created??!! Congratulations again!!

Disrespect may not have been intended, but that bit about discussing how babies are created with her OB is VERY rude. What makes you think that’s on okay thing to say to anybody?

I love your blog. My heart went out to you when you’d mentioned in one of your posts that you had been lying in bed, pregnant and broke. Back then I wanted to say that broke was yet not broken! And I am so happy for you and your family that this little guy is now with you. I still dream about a partner so I visit hot dating site and want to find someone worthy. I do hope that I will leave my dream life yet, exactly like you do.

With mail order brides services mail order bride , all you want to do is ship messages and respond messages. After texting for a while, you may meet with your bride and tie the knot if all goes properly. The business simplifies the dating technique between ladies and men. That is real whilst you don’t forget that many couples that meet on mail order structures are miles aside. Without the service, there wouldn’t have been any manner for those people to attach and marry.

I like to read such articles. I am alone now but I am looking for my own love. So I always try to read blogs and watch videos about dating, love and relationships. By the way what do you think about dating applications? For example I want to try https://www.flirtmatures.com/older-women-meet-younger-men.html site where younger men looking for older women. What can you say?
