Yes, you read that correctly…bacon, bourbon, salted caramel all wrapped up into a dark chocolate brownie. And, when you make it yourself, you can make it for an affordable price – but buying a sweet and salty dessert like this would not be cheap. In fact, this is better than those $6 restaurant desserts and you can make a whole pan for about that cost!
This is also a “guys’ brownie.” I mean, seriously add bacon to anything and the guys are hooked! So it will appeal to all – I personally am a salted caramel fan. I love it more than chocolate. So this is a REAL winner amongst many in a crowd.
Have you ever had bacon on a dessert? If you have, your tastebuds are probably already tingling as you think about the combination of flavors in this amazing dessert. And if you haven’t, you are seriously missing out. The first time I saw bacon on a dessert…I was like…seriously?!? Gross!
BUT..that was me speaking from inexperience. One daring bite and my dessert life has been forever changed!
Let’s get down to the bacon-y, caramel-y, chocolatey goodness! It’s quite easy, which makes it that much more appealing.
