Bacon Bourbon Brownies

Feast your eyes and your tastebuds on this one-of-a-kind take on brownies!

Ingredients
  • 1 box dark chocolate fudge brownies (I used Duncan Hines)
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 Tablespoons bourbon (or you can dilute it and use 2 T bourbon and 2 T water)
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 5 pieces of bacon- cooked and crumbled
  • ¾ cup salted caramel sauce (I used Smuckers)
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9x9 pan with non-coating spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, add the brownie mix, eggs, oil and bourbon. Stir until well incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Transfer brownie batter to pan and bake for 30-32 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let cool in the pan for 30 minutes.
  6. Drizzle salted caramel sauce on top of brownies. Sprinkle sea salt on top of the caramel sauce (optional).
  7. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top of the caramel sauce.
  8. Cut into 6 squares and ENJOY!!
