Bacon Bourbon Brownies

Serves: 6-12
- 1 box dark chocolate fudge brownies (I used Duncan Hines)
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 4 Tablespoons bourbon (or you can dilute it and use 2 T bourbon and 2 T water)
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 5 pieces of bacon- cooked and crumbled
- ¾ cup salted caramel sauce (I used Smuckers)
- 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9x9 pan with non-coating spray and set aside.
- In a large bowl, add the brownie mix, eggs, oil and bourbon. Stir until well incorporated.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Transfer brownie batter to pan and bake for 30-32 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 30 minutes.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce on top of brownies. Sprinkle sea salt on top of the caramel sauce (optional).
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top of the caramel sauce.
- Cut into 6 squares and ENJOY!!
