Oh Peeps. It’s the candy of the season and has been since 1953 gracing spring tables, eats, parties and gatherings for over 63 years now. And in that time, you can find a plethora of Peeps ideas from eating to decorating all over the place with Pinterest being the prime Peeps ideas spot.
Along with Peeps and the plethora of ideas, we wanted to add our two-cents in Peeps recipe ideas world to make the Peeps pot even bigger.
We’ve already shared Peeps Doughnuts (which are amazing for any donut and/or Peeps lover) and we shared Peeps S’Mores Pie which is even more incredible – so now the grandpeep of them all – Peeps Fudge!
I am naming this the grandpeep for 3 reasons:
- It only requires 3 frugal ingredients. You can make a whole pan of 24 rich, delightful spring morsels for less than $4.
- It is super easy and fast. It only requires about 10-minutes of hands-on time and then at least an hour to set in the fridge.
- It is the most delicious of all. When we shared this dessert with our friends after church a few Sunday’s ago during fellowship time, I continuously had friends asking me what this delicious, mystery treat was and asked multiple times to bring it over and over and over again.
So it is dubbed a winner for those three reasons!
Enough talk, let’s get down to Peeps business!
Ingredients Needed for Peeps Fudge Recipe:
- 5-8 Peeps cut up into pieces
- 1 – 11.5 oz. bag of White Chocolate Chips
- 1 can of Rich and Creamy Vanilla Frosting
Other supplies needed:
- 8×8 pan
- foil
- cooking spray
- microwave safe bowl
How to make Peeps Fudge with 3-Ingredients:
- Pour half of the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 60 seconds
- In the meantime, line the 8×8 baking dish with aluminum foil and generously spray with cooking spray.
- After the 60-seconds, stir the white chocolate until it is fully melted. It may not look melted at first, but once you start stirring, it will melt completely as the heat is evenly distributed. You DO NOT want to microwave it anymore as it will burn and be ruined.
- Place the can of frosting in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to soften it enough to stir into the chocolate. Only pour half of the can into the chocolate.
- Stir the half chocolate and half container of frosting together until well blended.
- Pour in your baking dish and spread evenly.
- Then sprinkle and place your Peeps pieces evenly over the chocolate/frosting mixture. I would recommend spraying cooking spray on your hands because the Peeps pieces will be sticky.
- Then microwave the rest of the chocolate for 60-seconds, following the steps above. Add the rest of the frosting (softening for a few seconds if needed) and mix well.
- Pour the second half of the frosting/chocolate mixture over the Peeps layer.
- Place in the fridge for at least one hour (or as long as needed). For super fast setting, place in freezer for about 20 minutes).
- Once completely hardened, pull the foil off and cut into 24-pieces.
- Serve and enjoy!
- This will also store well in the fridge for about 10 days and will keep in the freezer for many months.

I am actually not a fan of Peeps, but my kids don’t mind them. However, this actually looks like a decent recipe and so I think I am going to give it a try and share with my church family too.

Yes, this makes for a fun themed treat because even for those that are not fans of Peeps seem to like this. It just a little subtle marshmallow sweetness in the fudge. It’s really so tasty and perfect subtle taste of Peeps! Let me know what you think!

We already have some strawberry frosting, so we are going to make a batch with it & another batch with the Vanilla.
Cassie
Oh YUM! I bet the Strawberry frosting will be fabulous! I would love to hear how it turns out!
