As a way to say “thank you,” although not close to comparable for your sacrafice, there are businesses across the nation offering FREEBIES to our veteran’s and active duty military!

FREEBIE EATS
- Go to Applebee’s today if you are a veteran or active-duty military personnel. You get to eat FREE from 11am – midnight. Come in uniform or show military I.D. For more details: go HERE.
- Pizzeria Uno Chicago Grill is offering all members of the military a BOGO entree or individual pizza today! Come in uniform or show your military I.D. For more details: www.unos.com.
- Go to Outback Steakhouse to get a FREE bloomin’ onion and a drink for vets and active-duty military members. Just show your I.D. For more details: go HERE.
- For dessert, drop by Krispy Kreme, which will be giving away free donuts to vets and current military all day.
- Finally, on Monday November 16th, Golden Corral is having their annual Military Appreciation dinner from 5pm-9pm. For more details: go HERE
DISCOUNT SHOPPING & FREEBIES
- Veteran’s and active-duty military, as well as their immediate family members receive a 10% discount on in-store purchases (up to $5,000) at Lowe’s, today through Sunday. Individuals must present a valid military ID or other proof of service.
- Also, veteran’s and active-duty military, as well as their family members receive a 10% discount on in-store purchases (up to $2,000) at Home Depot today only. To qualify, present a valid military identification at checkout.
- Today, go over to Sam’s Clubs and show your valid I.D. and receive a Hugo brand cane which is FREE to military veterans in need of mobility assistance. They will have 25,000 across the nation. Sam’s Club membership is not required, but proof of service is. (Available while supplies last; limited quantities per store.)
- FREE CAR WASH! Organized by the national organization Grace For Vets program, they have honored veterans and service personnel with free car washes on Veterans Day. Hundreds of car-wash businesses across the nation participate. To find a location go HERE for locations. Hey UTAH – there is one in Ogden!
- Anyone can visit a National Park, Historic Battlefields, and Forests today for FREE. If you are military or veteran – it is a way to say “thank you.” For everyone else, it is FREE to you as you honor and remember our service men and women!
