Welcome to our Thanksgiving Planning and Ideas page!

Our Family LOVES Thanksgiving! It is one of the most memorable and favorite holidays and traditions that our family shares.

The first thing we want to share with you are 6 “Instant” Thanksgiving Themed Treats because…let’s be honest… there are some days that you need a solution FAST. And not only that, but they are so cute that they are a great option at any time!

Watch the video and then you can click on the links to each treat for further instructions and to print the recipe/steps.

  • Turkey Jar Pretzel Rods Full Instructions
  • Golden Oreo and Mini Nutter Butter Turkey Pops

And that’s not all we have to share with you for this great holiday! Lots more below!

We have shared a number of things over the years.  Grandma and Grandpa and Great-Grandma are still normally the hosts and cooks and I bring along many dishes too, but I am also responsible for the tablescapes, crafts, decor and other miscellaneous traditions.  One day, the primary food baton will be passed to me, but until then, I am enjoying this side of Thanksgiving plan too!

As one tradition in our family, I usually make a dish or two and generally a pumpkin or butternut squash pie from scratch while the grandma’s make the rest.

Our then 3-year old helping daddy make pumpkin pie from scratch!

But each year, our family is generally responsible for the table settings, even when it is not at our house.  This is a fun tradition as we mix the beautiful and elegant with the memorable and most treasured decor that the kids make!

These were the table settings our kids made last year!

Last year, we also made homemade chocolates with essential oils.  It was a fun new addition to the table setting as each place setting had a Thanksgiving themed muffin cup filled with chocolates.

Another tradition that we enjoy is exchanging special ornaments with our extended family and we watch the same funny holiday movie each year after dinner!

We do start the day off as just our family generally since our extended family is close and travel is not involved.  We have a time of prayer and thankfulness and then watch the parade and have breakfast casserole before going over to one of the grandparents’ house!

That’s just a few of our traditions and memories. Here’s some links to recipes, articles, crafts and more to help you plan a “less” stressful Thanksgiving!

Good day! I fully agree with every of you word and with every word of this article! I with one of my classmates are learning at the same college. In order to make his life so much easier and happier, I recommended him this writing agency’s https://www.dnpcapstoneproject.com/ website with examples of correct essays that can be used to do his own masterpiece. Maybe, you will need to take this help in the nearest future.
