If you haven’t noticed….. our Valentine’s projects and themes have been really fun and cute for the kids, but super simple for the parents to do!

And so here’s another one!

Instead of giving the sweet hearts box of treats, buy them in the bulk bags and make these cute versions instead! Attach a cute little card or note and you have a fun, unique, cheap Valentine for someone!

The idea is quite simple.

Here’s the supplies:

  • Bag of Sweethearts ($1 each at Walmart)
  • Valentine regular size cupcake liners (Hobby Lobby .99 after 50% off sale)
  • Bag of Cherry Sours ($1 each at Walmart)

Here’s how to make it:

Lay out your cupcake liners.

Using a piece of saran wrap, pour a handful of sweethearts in the middle of the wrap.

Then “twist” it closed.  You can secure it with tape or with a twisty tie if you want.

Then just place it in the cupcake liner. If you need to secure it, use a glue dot or double-sided tape.

Finally, stick a single cherry sour on top for the “cherry on top” and secure with a piece of double-sided tape or glue dot!

Feel free to add a card or other greeting to complete the Valentine!
