We wanted to share a pumpkin spice recipe for this Thanksgiving week – perhaps a dessert or breakfast in these lovely Pumpkin Spice Baked Doughnuts! These are super easy and super tasty, the perfect treat for a Thanksgiving season of eating!
Also, you likely have most of these ingredients on hand at any given time, so they are a quick solution for a dessert or breakfast for that reason too!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ Cup all-purpose flour (make these gluten free by using the Best Gluten-Free Flour recipe HERE)
- 1 Cup milk
- ¼ Cup butter
- 1 Egg
- 2 Tsps vanilla extract
- 2 Tsps pumpkin spice
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Tsp allspice
- 1 Tsp baking powder
- ½ Cup sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Add the egg, butter, milk, vanilla extract, pumpkin spice, and allspice.
- Stir repeatedly until the batter has no lumps left.
- Prepare a donut tray with non-stick spray. Pour the batter into the tray.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until done.
- Remove the tray from the oven and let them cool down.
- Serve and enjoy.
