rite aid best deals

Here I am working on the weekly diaper deals again and Rite Aid has yet another great week and sale to buy diapers! Rite Aid has a sale on Pampers jumbo packs on sale PLUS there is a P&G promotion going on right now, if you purchase $30 worth of particpating P&G products, you will receive a $10 Rite Aid gift card – essentially a 33% savings! So I am going to show how to maximize this promotions with diapers and wipes of course!!

Rite Aid Ad March 7 screen shot

How to Maximize if Pampers Cruisers are included:

  • Buy 3 Pampers Cruisers Diapers for $9.99 = $29.97
  • As we will be .03 short of the $30 threshold, we will add wipes too. Buy 1 for $2.49 = $32.46
  • Then use 3 $2/1 Pampers Cruisers PG 2/21 – $6 = $26.46
  • Then use 1 .50/1 Pampers wipes PG 2/7 = $25.96
  • Then use the $5/$20 Video Values or $5/$25 (Thanks Hip2Save!) =  $20.96
  • Then qualify to receive the $10 Rite Aid gift card, so when considering this discount – $10 = final is $10.96 for 4 items or $2.74 each!!

How to Maximize if Pampers Cruisers are NOT included:

  • Buy 3 Pampers Baby Dry Diapers for $9.99 = $29.97
  • As we will be .03 short of the $30 threshold, we will add wipes too. Buy 1 for $2.49 = $32.46
  • Then use 3 $1.50/1 Pampers Cruisers PG 2/7 – $4.50 = $27.96
  • Then use 1 .50/1 Pampers wipes PG 2/7 = $27.46
  • Then use the $5/$20 Video Values or $5/$25 (Thanks Hip2Save!) = $22.46
  • Then qualify to receive the $10 Rite Aid gift card, so when considering this discount – $10 = final is $12.46 for 4 items or $3.12 each!!

There is also the $3/$15 purchase coupon that you can also use, your final total would be .50 each higher in each scenario (you can only use 1 of the Rite Aid coupons for money off the total purchase per transaction).

What size packages are these? I’m looking for size 4 but normally buy Target brand. Would this be a better deal?

This is for the jumbo packs so for the cruisers at $2.74, the size 4 diapers have 27 diapers in each pack = .10 each diaper. The Baby Dry jumbo packs for $3.12 each have 31 diapers in each pack = .10 each diaper. .10 each diaper is really good, we try to hit .15 or lower every time we purchase diapers!

We actually have a chart we have created for every name brand diaper size and number of diapers per package, we hope to post this soon in the baby guide page at the top of the site, so be watching for this, that way you can easily determine how good of a deal a diaper package is!

I just found your blog today.

I did this deal today but split it into 3 transactions. I bought 3 pks Pampers diapers, 3 John Frieda, 4 Covergirl, 8 Starbursts & 2 Renu so I could use $/$$ coupons on all 3 transactions. I ended up paying $22.98 out of pocket but am getting back $10 GC, $5 SCR for John Frieda & $1 SCR Crest Toothpaste. So it will only be $6.98 for all those items! How I love Rite Aid!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the 3 packs and inquired about the $0.03 shortage and they said as long as the total was over 30 after taxes I would be fine. I spoke to a manager and she confirmed this. I submitted the receipt online and am waiting for confirmation. I kept the receipt and have not opened the diapers just in case the store manager was mistaken.

Also got a terrific deal on Gillete Fusion Razors
    Fusion razor: 9.89
    Fusion refills (4 pack) 14.99
-$3 off of $15 purchase (Rite Aid printable)
-9.89 Free Fusion Razor with refill purchase (coupon)
-$4.00 off Fusion Razor purchase (coupon)
$9.06 paid after taxes for a new razor that came with 2 refills, plus the 4pk of refills!

If you are a baby dry fan look for the boxes to get more diapers for the $30. One box is 19.99 and size 3 has 96, add one jumbo pack of size 3 for 36 diapers and get 132 diapers instead of 108, yes you will have to pay 1.50 more but its 24 more diapers.

Momodealz– tax is not included in the scr amounts– only line price on the receipt. Managers will sometimes allow the tax to bring you over the 5/25 coupon amounts but the scr computer won’t pick it up. You fusion purchase should help cover the .03 your short.

Laura– it says pampers and in the past has included any pampers product — cruisers, baby dry bags and boxes and easy ups have all worked for me on past ones. It just says pampers online not a product type.

But buying less packs, means using less coupons…so you may come out higher…just a thought.

    Rebekah,

The coupons in the deal where it says “PG” means the insert out of the paper, Proctor & Gamble. The newspaper dates to find these coupons are 2/21 and 2/7 in the first senerio and 2/7 for the second. The $5/$25 coupon is printable if you click on the link. SCR means single check rebate and from what I understand the rebate check will be mailed to you for future use. I am just starting out doing these things so I remember how confusing it was. I hope I helped!

so rite aid will let you use the cruisers coupon on baby dry diapers?

Rebekah: The coupons are in the Sunday newspaper inserts. PG means Proctor & Gamble. So, for the diaper scenario, you’re looking at the following coupons:

$2.00/1 Pampers Cruisers coupon (from the Proctor & Gamble insert 02/21)
$1.50/1 Pampers Cruisers coupon (from the Proctor & Gamble insert 02/07)
$1.50/1 Pampers Wipes coupon (from the Proctor & Gamble 02/07)

    I hope that helps! :o)

FYI – the SCR is a check mailed to you (once you’ve registered online at Rite Aid and entered the appropriate receipts or mailed them in according to the guidelines). This check can be deposited into your bank or “cashed” at Rite Aid for a purchase at that time.
