Peanut Butter Chocolate Blondie Brownies Bars create a mouth watering, taste bud dancing party in your mouth. I can tell you, our family has been enjoying everything peanut butter the past couple of years when previously we hadn’t had anything peanut butter in 10 years.
Why would we avoid peanut butter for 10-years? Well, our daughter was deathly allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. However, by God grace, she received a medical treatment that cured her for her allergies!
And Alex and I had forgotten how amazing peanut butter truly is. We’ve been enjoying many recipes and new ways to eat it…along with the classic ‘ol PB&J. Seriously the best sandwich in town – it’s fast, it’s easy, it’s cheap and it can go anywhere.
Have I also mentioned I love brownies? I am pretty sure I have a few different brownie recipes I have shared. So, why not make brownies with the primary ingredient of peanut butter – making them half blondie and half brownie? Duh – a dream treat called Peanut Butter Chocolate Blondie Brownies Bars. It’s almost like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup but in a brownie.
And if you love peanut butter cups as much as I do, you will appreciate the healthier swaps on this recipe so you can indulge in the peanut butter chocolate goodness more often.
In fact, the healthier versions of this almost makes it a super food. I am sharing the classic recipe, along with swaps for healthier, gluten-free, sugar-free versions.
