These Peanut Butter Chocolate Blondie Brownies Bars are an amazing dessert marriage!

  • 1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter (we use fresh ground peanut butter with no added sugar or ingredients)
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened (coconut oil is a good, healthier swap)
  • 1¼ cups granulated sugar (baking stevia is a great alternative)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (for GF version, try the BEST EVER GF flour)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1¾ cups (11.5-ounce package) milk chocolate chips, divided (carob chips are a dairy-free version)
  1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ F and grease a 9x9 pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the peanut butter and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Add in eggs, vanilla and sugar and mix well.
  4. Add flour and salt and blend for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in ¾ cup chocolate chips.
  6. Spread mixture into pan.
  7. Bake 30 minutes and top with remaining chocolate chips. Let the chips melt for 5 minutes and then spread evenly. Let cool and cut into bars.
