Our First Vlog: Afternoon Trip To The Mall on Black Friday 2010

We are becoming brave.  We have filmed and edited our first Vlog (i.e. blogging via video).  We hadn’t planned on doing this, but we were sitting in the mall in the food court at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon and it was still packed and crazy (we could only imagine what it was like only a few hours earlier!).  Thrifty Al said, “let’s just film what we are doing today!” “Uhhhh… ok…” was my response.

Anyway, we went to the mall as we have a tradition, we pick up something special during the weekend after Thanksgiving (you’ll have to watch the video to see what it is).  The mall is where we go to get it and then we can get a sneak peek at what the Black Friday shoppers were doing too! We didn’t really do any Black Friday shopping (although there is one shopping trip in the video!) as we had already finished Black Friday shopping online on Thanksgiving morning!

So… check out the video, and besides perusing the mall stores – these were the things we did!

If you can’t see the video,  you can watch it on YouTube by checking our Black Friday 2010 journey to the mall on YouTube!

It’s nice to “see” you! I always wonder what my blog writers look like / sound like in “real life.”. 🙂

I brought my coupon yesterday but couldn’t use it at hallmark with the 20% off sales which was annoying. I think it will be easier to wait until that sale is over (today) and spend the $10 on clearance items once those signs are down. Liked your vlog 🙂
