May 14 by Cassie Leave a Comment

ikea kid's eat free meals

It is FREE food time at IKEA again! This time, it is for the kids! Each child can pick 3 kid-sized items to create a meal! There is NO adult purchase necessary to get the FREE kids meals! This is valid for Today, May 14 through the 16th all day, no coupon necesary!

Here’s an idea that we have shared with you before as a FREEish date!

  • Head to IKEA and immediately reserve a time slot for your kids in the play area
  • Then while you are waiting, head up to the cafe’ and get each of your kids their FREE meal
  • Then when your time has come up to let the kids go to the play area – take them there!
  • Then you and your spouse go back up to the cafe’ and have a nice quiet relaxing dinner for 1 hour just the two of you (unless you have a baby in diapers like us 😉 but she can join us!)
  • Pick up the kiddos an hour later and carefully peruse the store, only buying what is absolutely necessary!!
  • This makes for a cheap date!!

This was part of our plan of events for tomorrow too and so I thought I would share it! We really do have a thrifty fun day planned for the family!
