This great find comes with a story. We have a Wii. Honestly, we bought it for the purpose of family fitness and for our fitness. With the Wii, we got a deal last year where it came with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort and it lends to a couple of hours on family fun evening once a week or so. But we also bought it for the purpose of my fitness. Alex goes to the gym at 5:30 in the morning, but with 5 kids and work and so many things, I couldn’t get to the gym until night time. That wasn’t working, I was too hyped up to get to bed and since we both get up at 5:30, I wasn’t making it.
So I decided to work out at home. During the summer, the kids and I were going for an hour long walk every day. It was a workout I could do with the kids and it was working well. Well, starting about 3 weeks ago as it started getting really cool, I pulled out the Wii and invested in Wii Fit! I LOVE it! It was well worth the $80 investment.
BUT, I just leave the Wii Fit disc in the console every morning. The Baby discovered that it is cool to push the eject button. But there is usually nothing in it. Well, not now! He was served up a surprise of a Wii Fit Disc. He took it out and needless to say, it was ruined! I was so bummed!
Alex told me to stop pouting about it and just go buy another disc as it is worth the money for easy and convenient fitness. I assumed it was going to be an arm and a leg, but thankfully, since we already have the Wii board, the Wii Fit disc was on sale for $16.
Well, while I was on Amazon searching for the Wii Fit Disc, I found Jillian Michael’s 2010 Fitness Ultimatum that is normally $19.99 on sale for $7.95! I got this too so I can add to my fitness routine and excited to try it! It works with the Wii Board. There is a 2011 version for $11.47, but I am perfectly happen with the 2010 version and wanted to let you know about it too as it is a nice way and change to work out at home.
It may not be $7.95 for long, so I would suggest not waiting if this was something you wanted to give a try! The shipping is free with Amazon Prime or a $25 or more order.
Here’s the features of it:
- “Resolutions” Mode features a customizable training calendar that allows users to plan their routines for up to six months as Jillian coaches you every step of the way
- Cardio Training: Swing Kicks, Obliques, Jumping Jacks, Hip Twists, Water Pump, Running, Bicycle

Has anyone used her Wii Workouts? It looks like it should be pretty intense, which is what I want 🙂
