So….. if you have been reading our site, you know that Alex and I are going on a vacation to New York City and we leave bright and early tomorrow morning (Thursday). Well, we are taking a real vacation from everything. It will be the first time traveling without a laptop ever. When you run your own businesses and side jobs, it seems like you can’t ever really leave. But we are really going to un-plug and enjoy for a few days – especially because we have saved and slaved to be able to go, we want to make the most of it. You can read about our vacation on our New York City vacation post HERE.
But, while we are gone, since we aren’t posting like usual we have an awesome giveaway for you! Thanks to 3 of our top favorite companies and sponsors, they are making our vacation more relaxing by keeping you busy here because you get a chance to win all sorts of cash and prizes and you can earn entries everyday while we are gone!
Here’s the prizes:
Three of you each get one of these!!
#1 – 3 Winners each win $50 cash from Ebates
Ebates is having their Mommy Madness (as opposed to March Madness ;)) right now. As a reminder: Ebates is a cash back rebate site – any purchases you make online, you can make through Ebates site and by doing so, you will “bank” a percentage of your total purchase into your Ebates account. Then each quarter, and once you have the minimum cash back balance in your Ebates account, you will receive a check with your rebate! It is really simple to use because it just takes one extra click to get 2%, 3%, 5%, 10% or more of your online purchases back! During the Ebates Mommy Madness event going on now, you can earn double cash back than what is normally earned too! Check out the Mommy Madness event HERE.
If you won $50, it could be a big blessing to cover bills or a nice date out! Either way, cash is a super sweet prize and 3 of you will get it!
Five of you will get 12 issues of this AWESOME Magazine! Renewals count too!
#2- 5 Winners Each Win a 1-year Subscription to All You Magazine ($20 Value each subscription)
If you love to save money, then you don’t want to miss out on All You Magazine. We’ve talked about it many times before and why it is one of our favorites. You can read more about what it is on our previous post HERE.
5 Winners will each win a 1-year subscription, which is normally $19.92, but you will get lots of great information plus hundreds of dollars in coupons which means it is worth much more than just $20! If you are already a subscriber – if you are one of the 5 winners, your 1-year will be added onto your current subscription!
Ten of you will get FREE TOILET PAPER – Yippee!

Oh, and my favorite vacation tip: if you have children, pack their outfits from socks to shirts for each day separately – that way you have it all together and no time wasted looking for, say, a matching top (also, if someone else helps the kids to get dressed).

I’m notorious for overpacking. I finally worked out a system where I put everything I think I’ll need in little stacks on the bed, then I make myself put two thirds of the items back in the drawers/closet. It feels like I’m going to run short of clothes, etc., but I never have. Go figure 🙂

I always have the little store plactic bags stuffed into the middle of a roll of paper towels to be kept under the seat of the car. That way you always have paper towels and bags for picking up treasures such as shells at the beach and you can carry them home in the bag so the sand doesn’t get everywhere.
