We wanted to share this creative and practical DIY idea with you today because how many times have you come across a seemingly ruined card table? How many times in your life have you ditched one personally?  Well, you can get your creative juices flowing and turn that old, ruined card table into a new game and card table.

Usually you can’t even give away a card table in this kind of condition!

What’s great about this is that they do fold up nice and can be stored away and so when you ruin one over time, you may be tempted to buy another. But just simply refinish it and add some extra elements and your card table will be better than the original.

This idea was shared from LeAnne from Diva of DIY. She shares (including a video) how she upcycled her old one into a new game table.

It’s a pretty simple process and we love that she took it to a new level by including a built in game board, so it’s for more than just “card games.”

This is also a great idea for a DIY Christmas present too.

I love this! And so much thriftier than buying a chess table. Thanks!

Yes, and all games too! But the built in part is definitely handy. 😉
