Mark from Prepsetcetera.org site sent us this great idea to make your own recycled Kettle BBQ Grill.

These are a kind of “hobo” stove which is a great idea for camping and emergencies.  You can recycle your tin cans – especially the large #10 cans that contain bulk foods to make this practical grill!

For those of you that are handy, wanting to learn emergency planning skills and more, this project may be up your alley!

If you have to buy all of the parts and supplies needed, it will cost around $25.  But most of us have many of the parts already needed and so in that case, it could cost you significantly less!

You can see the step by step instructions on the Prepsetcetera site HERE.

Do you have a project to submit?

Send your idea to thriftyus@thethriftycouple.com with subject DIY idea.
