We want to share a homemade mix with you that you can use in your gardens for amazing results. There is no need to spend a ton of money, in fact this solution costs just a mere, few pennies. There is no need to use chemicals or questionable substances, in fact this solution is natural. There is no need to spend a bunch of time to concoct the miracle solution, in fact it takes a mere 2 minutes to make and just as long to apply – less than five minutes total for a fantastic solution!

This solution is made with Epsom salts. Why do you want to use Epsom salts in your garden? Because it contains a “healthful” amount of magnesium. But can’t you use just any ol’ salt?  No.

Let me explain: salt is sodium chloride. Pretty much all types of salt out there. Sodium chloride has its other uses and most of which are in the kitchen. But when it comes to gardens, sodium chloride is helpful in killing weeds. But not so much when wanting to give a healthy dose of growth to your garden.

Epsom salt on the other hand is magnesium sulfate. THIS is what you want to feed your plants for healthy growth. Magnesium is beneficial to most anything you are growing; in other words, it’s not likely to hurt anything you are growing (unless there’s high amounts of it).  And as there are a few plants growing in your yard or garden that likely have a deficiency in magnesium, it is a vital component for your homemade miracle mix.

Those items that benefit from a healthy dose of magnesium are peppers (of all kinds), tomatoes (of all kinds) and roses (of all kinds). These three varieties of food and flower tend to be magnesium deficient by nature and so this addition will help with significant growth and create juicy, sweet and delicious food and flourishing, sweet smelling roses.

To make the Epsom Salt Garden Spray:

  • Spray bottle
  • .75 tsp of Epsom Salt
  • 2 cups of warm water

Add the salt to the spray bottle, then add the water to the spray bottle and shake until mixed. Then spray onto your pepper, tomato and rose plants. Repeat every 10 days for amazing results!
