We had a surprise at our door today. A package – one that has been 16 months in the making. At first, I was surprised to see a package sitting on our doorstep and wondered what it could possibly be? 

That’s when I saw the label and had to call Alex immediately!  I picked up the heavy package and danced around, to my kids’ confusion. 

Do you know what this package holds? 

It should have copies of our brand new book IN PRINT.  Did I mention that we haven’t even seen a physical copy of the book yet?!  Yes, we just received confirmation from our publisher that it’s done and ready to be shipped to the bookstores, to Amazon, to Barnes and Noble and to many others.  And we hope that what we have in this box is the first of many of those copies!

That book is The 2% Rule To Get Debt Free Fast. It’s our story of how we got into over $100k of consumer debt and how we paid it off fast, with gradual lifestyle changes.

We share our disparaging financial past in this book to give hope and encouragement that there really is light at the end of the tunnel. It is a story that we haven’t told to anyone, not even our closest family. But not only are our deepest, darkest secrets from our financial past revealed, but the solution that led to our “happy ending” (or happy beginnings?) and one that we couldn’t ever see in the midst of those financial trials.

Our 2% Rule solution has worked for many others and that solution solves your issues of wanting to pay off debts and wanting to change financial habits, but perhaps running into a brick wall with either the crash diet approach or other holes in the fence. But now, there is a permanent, less sacrificial solution to your debt and money crises. 

And it is all in this book: the problem, the solution

and the step-by-step guide. 

This is an amazing moment for us. In front of your screen, you see the results of what we share and what we write, but you don’t get to experience the road getting there. This book project has been one of those mountains and it feels so amazing to be near the summit! Our whole family has sacrificed and worked to bring this project to completion. 

It went into the hands of MacMillian many months ago. Their editors, designers and staff have took our 8.5″ x 11″ manuscript and crafted it into a book.

We have seen the digital design, but we haven’t actually seen a physical copy in print yet. 

Until today…but actually not even yet.

Why? Because this book was written for you and we want you to experience it as close as possible. We want you to see it in print at the same time we do as you have been a part of this journey with us. 

That’s why we are going to open this package live on Facebook, Wednesday, October 4th at 7pm MST (9pm EST, 8 pm, CST and 6 pm PST) on our Facebook page.
