Give Practical Personal Christmas Gifts This Year: Here’s How To Do It For Less

We want to share some ideas on some ways to bring Christmas cheer that you may be overlooking – you know the things that we don’t think as traditional Christmas gifts, but might be the best gifts of all!

Let me start out by saying that I don’t spoil myself. And from most moms and dads we talk to, rarely do they either. Especially if you are frugal. So you buy the necessities that are cheap and on sale. It’s life.

But this is where we are going to step up and offer a solution for those moms and dads so you can spoil them a little more on Christmas.

When it comes to gift, what I really want is a self-pampering gift.

Something that saves me money, makes me feel special, is practical  and is super appreciated. This is not the type of appreciation you have when you open that can opener or toaster (roll my eyes)…  No, not that type of super practical, but the other type.

This really got me thinking. What kinds of things would this be?

Obviously the gift sets for the holidays with the washes, soaps, and other toiletries are a really popular, practical, pampering idea. But they can be pricey simply due to the holiday packaging. So why not spend the same budget for something super nice in the actual product and not the packaging?

Walmart is a great place to find the deals on some practical items like this. In fact, we found some really nice gifts for both men and women on rollback, plus coupons!

As an example for her, you can’t go wrong with the popular, practical, pampering brand Olay! I found the  Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System on rollback at Walmart for just $29.97 online.  Then you can combine this rollback with a $4 off brandSAVER coupon that dropped on 11/26, and you’ll get a great deal on a gift she will love!

And for him, pick up the Braun Multi Grooming Kit MGK3020. The 6-in-1 beard/hair trimmer will also be on a special holiday rollback for only $21.97 through December.

In the end, with rollbacks and coupons…we are talking some nice, practical gifts that provide great savings. Then grab a nice basket, tissue paper and gift basket bag wrap and put together your own gift basket.

Or you can also get these items by themselves just as some nice stocking stuffers too. Either way, from one frugal mom and dad to another, if you are going to spend money on us, make it something we wouldn’t get for ourselves, but would love to have for every day, practical purposes. It’s a true gift!

What practical, personal, pampering type gifts can you think of?

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Olay and Braun at Walmart. The opinions and text are all mine.
