I personally have a full encyclopedia that I LOVE and could not live without! It talks about the science, single oils and oil blends and what they do and their benefits as well as usage. The second part of the book is an encyclopedia lists illness, ailments and diseases in alphabetical order and then lists the essential oils to help with that problem and how to use them for that problem. I LOVE this. I bought this book a few years ago before I started investing in the more expensive oils. I had been using essential oils in my cleaning products for a very long time, but not for aromatherapy uses. This book helped me to understand the use of essential oils in the other areas of life.
This is the hardback comprehensive encyclopedia I have, but it is hard to get. You can see options HERE.
But this book called “Modern Essentials” is hard to get a hold of. If you can get one, I think it is more than worth the $24 investment to have the comprehensive guide at your finger tips.
In addition, any free or cheap other materials you can get on the subject, I would grab and have many resources at your finger tips!
