Amazon has made even more incentive to shop with them if it wasn’t already for the super low prices on most everything, plus all the goodies, extra discounts and freebies as a Prime Member. Now there are extra Amazon savings to take advantage of!
Well now they are offering a gift card reload deal to make your shopping even cheaper!
We shop on Amazon with gift cards. Why? Well, because I can get a few hundred each year for free with this trick. But now we have an incentive to shop on Amazon even more with gift cards and convert all of purchases to gift cards.
Because they now give bonuses and discounts. For Prime Day back in July, they were giving all kinds of bonuses, like extra money to spend when you loaded a gift card.
Well, it appears that this promotion is now a permanent one. Meaning, if you reload a gift card with $100, you will be given a $10 Amazon credit. So it is like a 10% bonus.
This appears to be a first-time offer for everyone. It could be just prime members, but since we are prime members, I cannot check to see if it is available for non-prime members, so leave a comment if you find out otherwise.
If you are not a Prime Member and want to be one, you can get a month free HERE and then decide to continue or just cancel after trying it out.
Once you have reloaded a gift card with a $100 balance, you will get that $10 credit and have $110 to spend on Amazon. Since we do much of our shopping on Amazon, we just took $100 out of our allotted monthly budget and bought an Amazon gift card. Our balance on Amazon is now $110, leaving us with that bonus for doing so.
In addition, if you continue to reload onto a gift card, you will get a 2% credit each time added to your balance.
The great news is that you can pay with a debit card, you don’t have to use a credit card. So it is a great way to save a little more and “set aside” some of your monthly budget for specific purposes too.
So if you are like us and you already have a list of “regular” items you buy on Amazon monthly, just convert that into a gift card. The first time you will get $10 credit and each time thereafter you will get 2% of the balance. So if you add $100 each month after, you will have $102 to spend.
All of these little tricks, with little effort can add up to quite a savings annually!
