CVS is running a special promotion this week where it looks like you will be able to get three free Hallmark greeting cards. Essentially how this works is that you will buy the cards first, and at checkout receive a coupon with $3 in Extra Care Bucks. This is like CVS cash and then you can use it on anything else in the store.
Here’s the deal:
In the CVS ad this week, they are advertising that you will receive a $3 ECB (CVS cash) with the purchase of 3 Hallmark Greeting Cards. The ad says $2.49 or more, however the reports coming from many that shopped in-store, the registers are programmed to give you the ECB with any three card purchase of $1 or more! The same was the case last year and many got their FREE $1 greeting cards.
With that being said, if you are headed to CVS or near a CVS, it is worth stopping by to see if your store’s register will print the $3 ECB with the purchase of three $1 cards (which means 3 FREE cards!).
This is a good time to grab any occasion to put in your greeting card box. If we do not have a specific even coming up, we will usually grab Thank You cards or Thinking of You for when we need them!
