I love my silicone basting brush! There is a lot of silicone cookware and bakeware out there that I have not tried – floppy muffin tins, for example, make me nervous. But I really like the way the silicone brush works – floppy enough not to damage fragile doughs, firm enough to brush well, and brush-y enough to pick up plenty of whatever you are brushing on. (Something healthy, I hope. I certainly would not use MY basting brush almost exclusively for slathering everything in butter. Ahem.) 😉
