We plan our family activities and dates ahead of time so we can get the best deals. Some activities end up being FREE, but in many cases, they are not, so we maximize our savings by pulling together all of savings which is usually using a coupon for the activity or date and then paying with a discount gift card! Massive fun and savings at the same time (come on, admit it, things are way more fun when you get them for a good deal too!).
We just ordered from some restaurants we like in our area and Sparetime Family Fun Center here in Utah. We did spend close to $100, but now we have $200 (BEFORE coupons!) of fun and good eats ahead of us, which will probably last us for several months!
