I love summertime and I love summertime recipes. I have also fallen in love with fresh salsa of any kind, but especially salsa made with fruit. I didn’t realize how much I love the sensation of sweet and salty together until I realize how much I crave a fruity salsa with salty tortilla chips (even salty, sweet potato chips).
I use to think that fruit salsas were weird and unappetizing, until I tried it! Now I make watermelon salsa, pineapple salsa, mango salsa and now cantaloupe salsa and I prefer it over regular salsa. The only dip that comes close is homemade guacamole – I can’t get enough of that either.
And not only is this Cantaloupe Lime Salsa delightful and refreshing, but super easy, and quite affordable, especially when cantaloupe is in season. The rest of the ingredients are super cheap. You can make a lot of it fast and it serves a crowd well.
I mean, this recipe is just too perfect for so many circumstances at home all to yourself and on-the-go to share with a crowd and everything in between!
Have you tried a fruit salsa before? You must give this one a try!
