Brands Map: What States Are Home To The Most Famous Brand (Interesting!)

We don’t know why, but we found this honestly quite interesting! This is a map of the United States, but each state represents the most famous brand that was founded in that state.

Many of the brands are surprising! It was just a bit of fun information that we thought we would share!

And for the states that are really hard to see:

  • District of Columbia = C-Span
  • Connecticut = GE
  • Delaware = DuPont
  • Maryland = GEICO
  • Massachusetts = Gillette
  • Rhode Island = Hasbro
  • New Hampshire = Timberland
  • New Jersey = Campbell’s
  • Vermont = Ben & Jerry’s

We have never heard of Allsup’s, barely heard of Gino’s and Carrs and we didn’t realize that brands like Zappo’s and Lexmark were that big to be put on a map! Some of them make sense (like Hershey’s, Apple and Starbucks) but some are sorta off the wall! Anyway, it was an interesting find!

So…. what brand is your state?  Are you surprised by that?  Do you think that there is a MORE famous brand in your state?

Our home state is an awesome one – Albertsons! We love and miss Albertsons!! It is the BEST grocery store and a very good corporation for our home state and all that they do for this state!

We actually saw this picture on the Best Western site as they were proud of their achievement, but we don’t know who has made this map!

Hooters? Really? I would have thought Disney over Hooters! I am surprised by that one. But I guess Disney actually comes from California…

Oh yeah! Disney. Although Disney originated in California – whenever someone says they are going to Florida – the first thing you think is Disney! Good point!

Wow- I had no idea Garmin originated here. (Kansas) Right in my home city, too!
A bit surprised that Cessna wasn’t chosen

Or shall I say the Vicks medication founder made all their products in Greensboro NC back in the day…

My last post NC is also known for Texas Pete hot sauce…burt bees products…Mt. Olive pickles…home of foodlion…harris teeters…and lowes foods…North Carolina is known to produce many top name products and all they came up with is Bank of America (which I did not even know)

I am from NM and Allsup’s is very appropriate! It is a convenience store that also has BBQ beef sandwiches, fried burritos, etc. It is also the only place to go to the restroom in some of the small towns (known as villages in NM).

Thanks for the map. The importance of a positive online reputation is growing along with the rapid development of e-commerce. After all, the more purchases customers make online and the more services they use, the more important positive reviews on the network become for them. All these companies understand why this is important. I have seen agencies like https://mediaonemarketing.com.sg/online-reputation-management-singapore/ can help

Thanks for the map, it was interesting to see. Now online commerce is developing strongly, and there are many technologies and web products that can help you open your store in a few clicks. I’m currently using Magento myself and have built a small store. Also, the products on mageworx help me make it better

It is interesting. I never thought that brand awareness could depend on its territorial location. To me this seems like false information. Recognition can be influenced by the promotion strategy or business tools used by the brand owner. One of the most effective is to use the services of an outsourcing company for example https://wow24-7.io/ and round the clock customer support. After all, if the client is taken care of and his questions and wishes are quickly answered, then this increases his loyalty to the brand and the so-called “word of mouth” begins to work, and this guarantees the rapid promotion of the brand.
