If any of you are like us….. all you might need is the turkey for Thanksgiving (along with a small handful of fresh items).  Everything that we need to complete our Thanksgiving dinner we already have in our home’s “thrifty store” in our storage room and in our pantry as we have been buying them super cheap when they are on sale, stocking up and combining coupons with those sale prices for a rock bottom deal. (to find out how to do this go HERE)

Anyway, I just went through and discovered we have it all…..!!! But the TURKEY!!!! We had a turkey in one of our two chest freezers as of 1 month ago, but believe it or not, Thrifty Al pulled it out and said we had to eat it as we were out of freezer space between the 2 freezers! Thrifty Al works magic on getting our stock up freezer items squished into the freezers! But this time the turkey had to be eaten.

So – I am rummaging through the ads to find the best deal on just my turkey! Here’s what I found:walmartBest Deal is Walmart – .40 a lb and there is no purchase of other items required! This is actually an awesome deal!

Most turkey deals require you to purchase a certain minimum amount to get a great price on the turkey.  But after doing the math, even the cheap turkeys with purchase required, still ended up being about the same cost or a little more!

targetTarget has the next best deal – Butterball Turkey’s .88 a lb and no purchase required.  ALSO, they have a turkey roaster on sale for $27, which they are claiming is their lowest price ever and if you buy one of the roasters with a Butterball Turkey at .88 a lb., you get a $15 Target gift card – this is an awesome deal if you also need the roaster!

butterballTo make the Target deal even sweeter – Use $2/1 Butterball Turkey coupon found HERE (there are also a few other traditional thanksgiving food coupons there too!) and combine with the deal above for the $15 Gift Card! Also, use the coupon on just the Turkey at .88 a lb. for the Butterball turkey! YEA!!

Those are my suggestions on best turkey deals! To find information on the best deals for the rest of the menu, go HERE
