Would you like to add another fantastic casserole to your dinner table for everyday or even special occasions? Well this dish I am going to share with you is so good, so easy, so quick and it is very affordable too!
Our family LOVES this dish and I can’t ever seem to make enough of it! It sorta reminds us of a corn type green bean casserole, but it does use different ingredients! However, the French’s Fried Onions is the icing that takes this cake….. just like in green bean casseroles too!
Here’s the ingredients:
- 2 cans of whole kernal corn (drained) or about 2 -3 bags of frozen corn (depending on size, you want around 30 oz.)
- 1/3 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 TBSP of Worchestshire sauce
- 1 tsp. of soy sauce (we actually use Bragg’s Liquid Aminos as a healthier alternative to all of our soy sauce needs)
- A few dashes of pepper
- A few dashes of salt
- A couple of dashes of cayenne pepper
- 1-2 cups of French’s Fried Onions
To make it:
- Heat oven to 375 degrees
- Mix all of these items together, only using around 1/2 cup of the Fried Onions in the mix.
- Spray a casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray and then put the mix in the dish
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until a little bubbly
- Top the casserole with fried onions for desired thickness
- Stick back in the oven for 5 minutes until the onions started to get toasted
- Serve warm and enjoy this down home comfort food!
