Here’s what you need to make Watermelon Candle Holders from Wine Glasses:
- Any wine glass
- Martha Stewart satin craft paint: Kelly green, bright green, pink, bright pink, and black
- Flat tip paint brush
- Votive candle
Directions on How To Make Watermelon Candle Holders from Wine Glasses:
1. With your flat tipped paint brush, paint the bowl and inside of your wine glass with your pink paint and let dry (use your hair dryer for a quicker dry time)
2. Paint the stem and base of your wine glass with your kelly green paint and let dry
3. Once your glass is dry, paint on a second coat of pink and green and let dry
4. Now use your brighter pink to paint vertical stripes onto your pink bowl to give dimension
5. Use your bright green paint to paint stripes onto your stem and base and let your paint dry
6. Dip the end of your paint brush into your black paint and paint small seeds onto the pink bowl of your wine glass and let dry
8. Once your glass is dry, place a votive candle on the base of the wine glass and display your wine glass upside down
