Here’s a link about Cardpool’s reliability: http://www.cardpool.com/scam. They have been on many news outlets too. They are BBB accredited with an A+ rating. As far as the promo code goes…. try all lower case or upper case. I am not sure what the problem is there, you may need to contact them via customer service. Anyone else having troubles??

Wow….just wow. I went through all the steps, tried to use the promo code, didn’t work. So I posted on facebook to refer my friends and copied and pasted the referral link for $5 also didn’t work. So, now I have told all my friends on facebook to go to this site ( that can post on my behalf) and the deal is not true.
So frustrating.

Thank you for your update on your experience. I am not sure what to think. Please know that we do attempt to thoroughly research those companies that we have not had much experience with. Although many companies have negative reviews if you look for them (and believe us, oftentimes they are justified), the major factor we relied upon in our research was the actual review of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) webpage for the company. Just as the company states on their site (although you should never trust that – they could say whatever they want), they truly have an A+ rating from the BBB. You can read some of the reviews in which it appears the complaints were actually false claims against the company and they have resolved any issues they did have.
In addition to that information, we did receive this referral from a personal friend that apparently had a good experience with them as well.
We would love to hear any other information you have as well, but it does appear to check out – at least it did from our research.

okay, so you have to join to get the $5 off, sorry! Also, they send you a piece of paper with the gift card information. It is not a physical gift card, it is printed on a piece of paper that they mail to you.
