Mom Foodie has the right idea with her colorful Washi Tape Kitchen Utensils — they ARE stunning! You can’t go wrong with this DIY Mother’s Day project because you can buy tape that is very specific to your mom’s taste and style. Just wrap the handles of a basic wooden utensil set AND Mod Podge them so mom can enjoy her gift for many days afterward. We also love this idea, combined with these awesome wooden measuring spoons HERE. Read the tutorial for this stunning kitchen craft —–>HERE.
*Note: Mom Foodie doesn’t use Mod Podge in her project, but if you want to actually use and wash these utensils, it is a must!

At first glance, I thought this was a sewing project. It wasn’t until I read the tutorial for myself that I realized The Happy Scraps was using wood, pre-cut banner pieces, and scrapbooking paper to create this show-stopping sign! Again, this project doesn’t call for Mod Podge, but I recommend you use it anyway. Applying Mod Podge to your banner will prevent your scrapbooking paper from coming off, becoming discolored, and make it easy to clean. I adore the look of this sign and would love to have one made for myself. “My Loves” “Mom’s Heart”, or “Pieces of Me” would be cute wording for those who want to gift this sign to someone other than Grandma. Learn how to make this picture board —–>HERE.

Inexpensive dot stickers is what transforms the basic Terra Cotta pot into something stunning. Okay, so maybe there is a little more to this DIY Mother’s Day craft than stickers, but without the perfect circle they wouldn’t be nearly as cute. I’m in love with the white and gold painted pots having their own designs. Use stickers and painters tape to create the look your mom would love. If you aren’t skilled with the spray paint can, I think they would look just as great using a brushed on paint too. Be inspired by Pastels and Macarons design—–>HERE.
