Legos, legos everywhere! Legos here, legos there, yes legos everywhere. Legos under there, legos to share, legos in your hair, legos to step on…which just isn’t fair. Yes, that is what happens at our house.  They are everywhere.  We have a nice organization system in our play room, but all of our kids make creations, set them down somewhere and then pieces are everywhere. Every time I sweep the floor (about 5 times a day with kids!), I find at least one lego.  It’s a fun play toy, but  we wanted to find some unique ways to enjoy legos.  As a result, we found a bunch of weird, but really cool alternatives to legos other than building creations – how about just some plain ol’ fun and unconventional ways to enjoy lego play!

Those are 18 of the most creative, unconventional ways to use Legos! Next goal around our home is to incorporate legos into learning fun.  There are so many ways to use legos.  See our Lego Pinterest Board for more ideas that we find here and there!

Also, take an old piece of furniture and turn it into a new Lego Play Table with these 5 ideas that we have shared before:

Finally, you can create crochet and knit lego projects too! Who knew? These ideas are thanks to our 10-year old crocheter in the family.  She wanted to find some new projects to crochet that also incorporated the family’s passion for legos and we found just that in this awesome round up of 15 Lego Crochet projects:

So many lego ideas and so little time. 🙂 Enjoy!
