Have you seen any of the “new” $100 bills?
They are quite cool looking and one of them could be yours!Â
Congratulations to Kim (infohound2b@) for winning our $100 cash giveaway!
WOW!
We are incredibly humbled, grateful and excited to have reached a huge milestone!
Today, we passed the 100,000 Facebook Fans mark.
We never dreamed that our little ol’ site and the two of us sharing ideas, articles, thrifty tips, frugal living and our personal story and personal lives with you would have turned into something so big.
We love and appreciate all of you and those of you that hang out with us online! We also have thousands of subscribers (not 100,000 yet :)) to our free email newsletter, hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors, thousands of Twitter followers, thousands of Pinterest followers and we want to be around for the long haul to continue sharing with you.
So, we want to show our appreciation to you as well by giving away $100 CASH from our own pocket!
No catches, no requirements, no sponsors, no additional steps…… just a straight across $100 cash giveaway to say THANK YOU and we hope you will be around for a long time too!
How To Enter:
Just leave a comment below! That’s it!!
Ideas for comments:
- How long have you been with us?
- What is your favorite post or topic that we talk about?
- What would you like to see from us in the future?
- Anything else you might want to say!
Now on with the required “legal” statements! Â We will not be actually mailing the winner a $100 bill, although they look so cool. Why… well it is quite dangerous and risky to send cash in the mail. Â So we will be rewarding the winner in the form of a $100 Amazon gift card or $100 cash via PayPal – winners choice! Â In addition, you need to be a resident of the United States of America and 18+ years or older. Â We would have loved to extend this giveaway to our international readers, but the laws are very confusing and difficult to work through…. so until we figure that out one day in the future, this is for US only. Â This giveaway will end on Monday, January 27th, 2014 at 11:59 pm MST.

You have wonderful tips!!! Thanks!!

I just started receiving your feed on Facebook. I’m trying to save on groceries so I find your posts very interesting. My husband is a picky eater plus he is very loyal to name brands. Tonight we are having pinto beans with a few ham chunks cooked in crock pot of course to save energy. Cornbread made from scratch and coleslaw. It’s one of our favorite cheap healthy meals.

I just discovered you a couple of weeks ago and immediately subscribed. I love all of your money saving tips. The two biggest that caught my eye were how to use all of your leftovers (or ingredients in fridge) using google and the SOS mix. The SOS alone is going to save me SO much money. I make a lot of casseroles using cream soups. Thank you so much for sharing and I look forward to discovering all of your helpful tips. I downloaded your weekly thrift planner and no waste menu planner which I plan to put to use very soon. I’m always looking for ways to save money. I recently tried my hand at making my own laundry detergent. I found the soap didn’t melt as easily as I thought it would. Possibly I didn’t shred it enough?
Do you make your own? If so, what recipe do you use?

As a young adult with a coming of age little sister, I have been compiling her a “things I wish someone had told me list” to guide her into the next phase of her life. Going into a new phase of life myself, starting a life as a we instead of just me, I stumbled across your site. It is full of helpful tips and I appreciate the honesty about struggles you might help me avoid. Thanks for the “things I wish someone had told me list” for my new phase! Hopefully, we will be debt free (and stay that way) before we say “I do!”
Melissa

Alex, I would be happy to take the $100.00 off your hands. Just this morning I was looking at a soil block makers on Amazon. Good deal. But due to our finances I decides that it was some thing I would have to live without for now. It would make my life easier in my garden but other things must come first. Wouldn’t it be a blessing if I happen to win this. Haha. I love to dream. I love your site and I receive your post on facebook. Thank you.
Trish

My husband lost his job and took quite a pay cut with his newer job. I am a SAHM and am trying to bring in some extra funds, which is hard since I have a sick parent in another state and I homeschool my son. I could really use an extra $100 right now. We’re not poor, we are getting by, but it would be nice to have some “fun” money.
