I just wanted to share a quick dinner fix that I prepared tonight!
We had baked chicken with a dressing marinade on our menu for this evening. Since we have about a doz. different selections, it was fun to randomly pick one. We usually end up with an Italian like dressing as a marinade, but tonight I used Asian Toasted Sesame dressing made by Kraft.
We were not fond of it on our salads honestly, but on chicken …. WOW! It was soooo good. And the best part is, it was soooo easy! I just placed the chicken in a glass cake pan, poured the dressing over it and let it set in the fridge for several hours today to marinate. Then stuck it in the oven at 375 degrees about 45 minutes before the scheduled dinner time. Very little work and we all devoured it! In fact we usually have baked chicken left overs, everyone was begging for more (even the baby – sticking her sweet little hand out and saying uh-uh-uh, which means more more more!)
Anyway, you may have some of this great dressing marinade on your shelf, try it on chicken 😉

Thanks! I love new (very quick) ideas!

Thanks! My husband likes this as a dressing but he doesn’t eat alot of salad so it goes to waste. Will definitely try this!

when placing the chicken in the oven do you remove it from the marinate or bake it in the marinate?

I actually just pulled the whole pan out of the fridge and put directly into the over, so I baked it in the marinade. It also made it super moist!

wonder if this would be good with pork?

I could drink this dressing. It is so good cooked on salmon, too. I add more after it comes out too. Top with sliced green onion. So good.

I have marinated asparagus in it and grilled it. Very good. 2 hours in the fridge and drain. Grill in the oven or on the bbq. I save the dressing for my pork. I add a tbsp of drama oil and tsp of red cooking sherry. Shake and pour on pork leave overnight. Grill.

Not Drama oil. Sesame oil! Sorry.
