We went to Target for a quick run to grab a few deals this week! We’ve mentioned a few times how much we love Laura’s Beef with no hormones, no antibiotics, grass fed beef – and it is very high quality and a very high price.
We are picky about our meats just as we have discussed earlier and so we were excited to find a $1.00 Laura’s Steaks coupon! But… it is still quite expensive, however we grabbed it on sale and with our coupons. The majority of our bill was in meat this week.

- 4 packs of Laura’s Lean organic beef for $24.56 ($6.14 each). Then used 4 $1.00 off Laura’s Beef printable coupons – $4.00 = $20.56 for 4 or $5.14 each.
- 1 package of Gold N’ Plump chicken breasts sale for $4.52. Then used $1.00 off Gold N’ Plump printable coupon – $1.00 = $3.52
- 2 jars Claussen pickles sale for $3.39 each = $6.78. Then used two $2.00/1 printables (no longer available) and two $1.00 off Target printable coupons – $6.00 = .78 for two or .39 each
- 1 Happy Baby Organic snack puffs sale for $2.99. Then used $1.00 off printable (no longer available) – $1.00 = $1.99
- 2 bags Market Pantry frozen chicken sale for $4.74 each = $9.48. Then used $1.50/2 Target printable coupon – $1.50 = $7.98 for two or $3.99 each.
- 1 Softsoap refill sale for $3.99. Then used $1.00 from Target mailer – $1.00 = $2.99
- 1 Tic Tac sale for $1.02. Then used .75/1 6/12 Red Plum Insert = .27
- 4 Danimals yogurt 6-packs sale for $1.97 each =$7.88. Then used 4 $1.00 off coupons from 6/5 SmartSource insert – $4 = $3.88 for 4 or .97 each
- 2 Nivea Men’s Body wash sale for $3.04 each = $6.08. Then used $2.00/1 from the 6/5 Red Plum Insert and two $1.00/1 from Target mailers – $6.00 = .08 for two or .04 each.
- 1 Oral-B floss sale for .97. Then used .75/1 from 7/3 Procter and Gamble Insert = .22
- 4 Tom’s of Maine kids toothpaste sale for $2.67 = $10.68. Then used 4 $1.00 off coupons from 6/19 Smart Source Insert – $4 = $6.68 for four or $1.67 each
- 6 Morning Star Farms vegetarian foods sale for $2.99 each $17.94. Then used 6 $1.00 off printable MorningStar Famrs coupons and 3 $1.00/2 Target coupons – $9.00 = $8.94 for 6 or $1.49 each.
Summary: Our total AFTER sale prices but BEFORE coupons was $96.89. We then used $39.00 in coupons, which made our final total $57.89! And we were very happy to grab lots of the meats we like and vegetarian substitutes this week!
