- 9 regular size peanut butter cups
- 2 cups of semi-chocolate chips (or one full bag 11.5 oz)
- 1 14oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
- 4 TBSP of butter
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
- 1/4 tsp of salt
How To Make Peanut Butter Cup Surprise Fudge:
- Using an 8×8 pan, cover the pan in foil. Spray with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine the chocolate chips, butter in slices and the condensed milk. Microwave for 60 seconds.
- Stir the mixture until it is creamy. You most likely will not need to melt any further, as you stir, the chocolate will finish melting. You don’t want to over-melt as this means burning the chocolate, which is easy to do.
- Pour half of the mixture into the pan and spread it evenly.
- Unwrap the peanut butter cups and line them up in the bottom of the pan 3×3.
- Then pour the remaining mixture over the peanut butter cups and spread evenly.
- If you want, you can top the fudge with chopped peanut butter cups.
- Put the fudge in the fridge for at least one-hour before cutting.
- When ready to serve, cut into 24-pieces.
- Watch as the jaws drop, faces are surprised, and sheer joy ensues. 🙂
