Okay, my commment…well I can’t say I learned anything new from the MotorOilMatters website, but I can say something about my last oil change! My husband does our oil/filter changes! My husband works two full time jobs as a children’s mental health therapist ages 3-17 by day. At night he teaches online for several universities. He works SO hard to make ends meet and this is one of those “little” extra maintence jobs he performs for us to help save money. So I’m sure he’d love it if I won this and he could have me take the car in next time! 🙂

Ugh I so could have used one of these giftcards about a week ago! Had to had my whole transmission flushed because my mom accidently bumped my gear shift into second while I was driving on the highway! Thank goodness it didn’t kill my engine, but a transmission flush is still uber expensive!

My car broke down a few years back…. engine blew. When it was being repaired the mechanic asked “When was the last time you had your oil changed?”. I had had the car for 4 years, and never had the oil changed!!! (I was divorced and hadn’t the foggiest idea of how to take care of a car)!!! My thinking was, if you put gas in it, it should go! Now I am remarried, and I know better… but I still let hubbie take care of the cars! This would really be a gift for HIM!!! 🙂

I don’t do regular oil changes on my car, and I know its bad for my car. I just hate to part w/ $30 to do regular car maintenance. Im due for an oil change already and am still waiting to get some extra money. I need to change my mentality, I think. This gift card would be great.
