Hi. Can i use coconut or rice flour?
Maka
I’m so excited to try this! I’ve been wanting to try making my own bread and being able to stick this in the crock pot just makes it even better. Thanks so much!!
Marla
Do you need to let this rise at all before placing in the slow cooker?
Cassie
It should rise as it slowly bakes – but you could if you want it bigger.
Robert
Thanks for this recipe.
I had 2 attempts. Both were successful.
On the first attempt I used my small slow cooker (CR046X) and the cooker turned out to be too small. Because the dough was risen just against the lid. The bread didn’t suffer though. It came out tasty and beautiful anyway. See result below.
On my second attempt I used my larger slow cooker (CR507) and the recipe was a perfect fit for it. The dough had risen to just 2 – 3 centimeters under the lid.
