We were excited when ALL YOU contacted us regarding a new program offered by B&H Publishing in time for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This especially touches us both as Cassie and I have close family members whose lives have been impacted by being diagnosed with breast cancer. We are thankful that research sponsored by the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation was integral in providing treatment for our grandmother and aunt in their fight against cancer.
As such, we are especially excited to mention this program that B&H Publishing will donate $1 to support the Susan G. Komen foundation’s efforts to find a cure for each copy of the new Here’s Hope Bible purchased – a new Bible created in conjunction with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. To learn more about the Bible we thought we would just share the information we received:
Created in association with the Susan G. Komen Foundation, this Bible is a powerful pink volume that breast cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones can each call their own. In addition to the complete text of the popular HCSB translation, this Here’s Hope Bible contains a broad range of topical resources: helpful tips and inspiring stories from those who have the disease, those who have been there and beat it, and those who have walked alongside someone through this journey.
We always love to talk about the impact we can all make by working together. Just think how much B&H Publishing will donate for all Bibles sold. Do you know someone impacted by this terrible disease or do you just want to be part of the cure?
First we want to share with you this resource we found to be encouraging for women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families – it explains some of the history of Komen for the Cure, practical tips for breast cancer fighters and survivors as well as inspirational stories to encourage those affected and having been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Second, we wanted to provide you the opportunity to purchase the Here’s Hope Bible through Walmart. As we mentioned above, B&H Publishing will give $1 for each Bible sold.
