So it happened again. Β I really never know how or why it happens, but it happens every holiday season. Β Maybe it happens at your house. Β Maybe you’re the culprit that’s the cause at someone else’s. Β But no matter how or why its almost as much of a tradition as hanging the stockings with care.
Just what is it you ask? Β Its the proverbial overuse of bathroom tissue (a nice way of saying toilet paper) which requires a massive re-stocking between Christmas and New Years. Β Yes, the stockings hung with care are not the only items beingΒ stocked – its also our pantry that is quickly depleted of its tissue contents.
Now you might think I’m being a bit forward in sharing our holiday tradition. Β But the reason I share is because White Cloud really does come to our rescue. Β When Cassie looks at me the day after Christmas and almost laughingly said, “It happened again” I know that meant it was time to run to Walmart and find my way to the paper department. Β There really is a reason why White Cloud is referred to as The Smarter Alternative as their toilet paper (err, bathroom tissue) is a good quality for a much-cheaper everyday price.
What is great for you is that White Cloud wants to give out three $20 Walmart gift cards to help with your holiday recovery – that is, the added expenses that come with the holiday season. Β So not only are they providing you a necessity at a great everyday value price – but now they want to help you with your other holiday expenses as you wrap up this year and head into the next.
You will have until Friday, January 4th to enter to win – which hopefully means even more fun stories to read and even more fun to go around!
Instructions to Enter
To enter leave a comment below. Β Please share with us one of the following:
- We would love to hear one of your quirky family traditions (can you beat our annual stock-up on paper products after Christmas??)
- Just leave a comment on what you would do with an extra $20 gift card.
Its really that simple to enter – and then three of you will be selected to win a $20 Walmart gift card.
The giveaway will run through Friday, January 4th, 2013 at 11:59 pm PST. The three winners will be selected randomly and will be notified via email. Must be 18+ to enter and reside in the United States. This promotion is in NO way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Pinterest. The information collected is utilized for entry into this giveaway only. White Cloud is sponsoring this giveaway and the gift cards will be sent after confirming your contact information.

A quirky family tradition we share is…
We leave Santa a glass of diet coke, a glass of water, and a glass of milk with the cookies.
The diet coke because great grandpa worked for coca-cola for 30 years, even traveling for Coke to other countries to over-see the build Coca-Cola bottling plants.
The glass of water because Grandpa works for a water company.
And the milk… well because you can’t have cookies without milk!

One of my family traditions is to make candy in our candy kitchen and give it to all of our friends. This has been going on since 1800’s when my family settled in the United States. Don’t think this is so quirky just a tradition that has been passed down for generations.

We have an Audobon Society field guide to East U.S. Forests that we regift every year or two. Each time one is required to leave an inspirational message. I’ve had it twice myself. Come to think of it I am due! Foul, foul, foul. I’d use the gift card for light bulbs and trash bags. We use more bags during the holidays and lights seem to blow in sequence, like a set of chaser lights!
