Giveaway: 3 Winners Each Get A Wendy’s Gift Card (Just Comment To Enter!) And Their Cheap Summer Menu Options

Who wants a Wendy’s Gift Card for FREE???  Well, that’s what we are going to give to 3 of you in this giveaway!

Before we tell you about the giveaway, we wanted to let you know about some food deals for everyone to take advantage of this summer!  These are some highlights that we saw Wendy’s had posted and thought we would post them here so you can see their announcements!

Berry Almond Chicken Salad:

Back by popular demand, Wendy’s is once again serving its popular seasonal sensation – the Berry Almond Chicken Salad. Featuring fresh, hand-picked U.S. blueberries and California strawberries, the Berry Almond Chicken Salad combines a warm, grilled chicken breast on a blend of 11 types of field greens and topped with shaved Asiago cheese and California roasted almonds.  It’s served with a signature fat-free raspberry vinaigrette dressing – including red raspberries, acai juice and balsamic vinegar, and is only available throughout the summer. The price is $6.49 for a full-size entrée and $4.49 for a half-size portion.

I must say, last year, we were watching t.v. and a commercial came up for this salad – I do not give into these kinds of cravings hardly ever… but both of us jumped on it and got these that night.  They were so good and so I was sad to see them gone, but… they are back!!

$1.99 Kids’ Meals:

This summer both kids and parents alike will be thrilled to find new menu items and interactive games added to the Wendy’s® Kids’ Meals™.  Starting now, all Kids’ Meals are available for $1.99 after 4 pm, so parents can provide their children with nutritious and fun food options at a value price. Wendy’s has also expanded its Kids’ Meal options by introducing a Grilled Chicken Wrap, one of the menu options that meets the criteria of Kids LiveWell, a program launched by the National Restaurant Association in collaboration with Healthy Dining Finder to help parents and children select nutritious foods when dining out.  

As part of the company’s “Pause. Play. Together.”® initiative, every Kids’ Meal comes with interactive games that parents can play with their children or toys that can be used to teach them something new. This summer will feature Klutz® Triptivities® activity books that have games, puzzles, doodles, flipbooks and more.

I don’t know about you, but I try to be picky and careful with what my kids eat.  Eating out is the hardest for this factor, but we often choose Wendy’s for the healthier meal options (like the mandarin oranges instead of fries and low-fat milk instead of soda), so when I found out that they now have the Grilled Chicken Wrap as an option for the main course, I was a much happier mom! And for $1.99 too!! Yipee!

 Frosty Waffle Cones:

Wendy’s has introduced a new way to enjoy their famous Frosty – the Frosty Waffle Cone! By pairing its classic frozen sweet treat with a crispy waffle cone, now you can enjoy your Frosty for a few minutes longer. The perfect treat for summer, a refreshing Frosty is made with quality ingredients – like fresh milk, rich cream and 100 percent cocoa. The Frosty Waffle Cone is available in both Vanilla and Chocolate Frosty flavors and is available for $1.49.

 Father’s Day Frosty Weekend:

For the 7th consecutive year, Wendy’s is honoring fathers during Father’s Day weekend — by raising funds to help find fathers (and mothers) for kids in foster care.  Throughout Father’s Day Frosty Weekend – Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16 – participating Wendy’s will donate 50 cents from the sale of every Frosty product to support Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, a special program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption that is dedicated to finding permanent adoptive families for children in foster care. All Frosty products are included — including the latest addition to the family, the Frosty Waffle Cone.
